About us

 

The Love of Christ Organization was founded with a vision to create a thriving Cambodia where everyone can experience the love of Christ. Our journey began with a small group of believers who recognized the need for spiritual and practical support in our communities.

  • L.O.C.M.O was born in 2024 out of the needs that we saw in a small section of Cambodia, and our desire to see Khmer people coming to Jesus and to be discipled and gathered into fellowships of other Khmer Christians.
  • The founders, Khmer Pastor Sem Pengkhorn and his wife Son Thiada, along with Elvin and Ruth Martin from the United States joined together and started teaching English, and Hosting University students, and we have visions of Hosting Bible Studies with our neighbors, teaching about finances and training Pastors across Cambodia.
  • We operate under the Authority of a 5 man board here in Cambodia and a 3 man board in the States (this is still in the development stage)
Our mission is to develop and strengthen families in the communities to be healthy spiritually and physically, and have sustainability and transformation through teaching the Bible of Jesus Christ, family strengthening, and how to manage and use budget for families, community health education, capacity building, and know how to mobilize recourse they already have.
The vision of the Love of Christ Organization is to see Cambodian People receive salvation from their sins, understand how to manage and use their budget better have a warm heart, have happy families, and develop in a holistic development both spiritually and physically.
- Improve the knowledge and understanding of how to apply the word of God for daily living
- Strengthen the management and leadership of families
- Improve the financial knowledge by promoting practical daily expenses
- Promote health check-ups regularly
- Strengthen internal management of the Love of Christ Organization
-Unity means to apply the love of Jesus Christin the workplace and with all the stakeholders. All the stakeholders are allowed to say no if he or she does not agree on any idea of the teammate, however, everyone must have a will toward fulfilling the mission of the organization.
-Transparency refers to the openness in relationship and accountability, especially when talking about financial management, other activities of the organization and other important approval.
-Accountability means all stakeholders must be accountable for the activities they have done concerning tasks management, leadership; and budget management.
-Integrity means all the stakeholders must be faithful, not cheating in their work.
